The Alps - The Relaxing Way

Has everyone GOT to get back for 3rd? I could probably do an extra couple of days and get back on the 4th or 5th if anyone fancies extending the trip home?

Ade,Phil i like both stickers but i think the rectangular one will go better on the panniers. :)

Doesn't it remind you of a confectionary wrapper? :D

Either would be great Ade, get a price & I'll place my order and fill another space on my panniers. :beerjug:

Yep back on duty on the 3rd, but i don't mind heading home solo if you guys wish to extend :thumb2

Both stickers look grand don't mind either :thumb2

The stickers work out about 2.50 each... might be able to get them down to 2 quid depending on how many we want.. personally, i prefer the round ones...

Re: the return date, i didn't wanto cause a rukkus (is that a word) just wondered if anyone had been pondering this...

Question is now do i get a new front tyre.... hmmm... 15k miles only on 2nd set.. i think thats quite good..

Re: return date.
What are you thinking Ade?
Staying over there for a while?

My dilema is I already have a return ferry booked with no refund available & a B&B booked for the 2nd.
My plan was return Mon 2nd & stay a night in Dover, ride home Tuesday, camp Lake District Fri & Sat with the Tossers & possibly ride on up to Scotland weather dependant.

What you got planned?
Go on, try twisting my arm! :)

Stickers:
Round ones, I'll take 7.

Well i was flying out to spain on the Saturday but am not now until 11th, so i was maybe thinking, well anything really.. Looking at the itinerary we are heading homeward on the 1st... I keep missing places like the Czeck Republic out and thought maybe a northerly loop into Prague the head west through Deutschland home. Either that or head back from como via a blast around the pyrenees via route Napolean and Gorge du Verdon. Como to the base of the pyrenees is doable in one long day or 2 leisurely ones (1st and 2nd Aug). 2 days pyrenees (3rd and 4th) Then north to be back for 6th or 7th ferry-ish.

Just thinking aloud really. Not sure on the ferry date change costs but it was only 30 quid anyhoo.... I can sell my body for more than that :o

Any of those routes sound grand if you guys get the chance, go fo it. I don't mind a solo ride back of even if two of us head back on that day.

Bung me down for a couple of each if ok

Put me down for 2 round 'uns. As for the extended tour ill check my duties at work. The problem i have is booking extra leave in the school hols.( Most of the lads on my team have kids)

If i can get the leave i'm flexible either way , Germany sounds good tho' :D

I just hope it warms up !! It has been raining here (more or less solidly) for 7 weeks.
It's currently 9 degrees! It's bleeding freezing - and there is fresh snow on the mountains !
