Well after my tentative post yesterday here is my proper thread on this....
Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th of may....Meet at 10:30
A rideout from Kilgarvin to Allihies, which BTW is on the end of the Beara Penninsula...
A route heading from Kilgarvin over the mountains to Kealkill, into Bantry. Bantry to Durrus then on towards Akhista and the end of Durrus Penninsula {sheeps head} Then over the northern side of Durrus back to Bantry, From there we will head over the Priests leap back to the main Kenmare Glengarriff road for a blast back to Glengarriff. From Glengarriff over the Healey Pass to Lauragh. Then ending up with the beara way round the old road to Eyries and a short off road bimble to Allihies.
If the weather is bad we can miss out durrus and make the whole thing much easier...
Once in Allihies I have five beds in my " shed" Aiden * 2, Vireo * 2 and Jaws 100... So all taken.
Camping depending on numbers at the rural Allihies campsite or in my garden... Local independent hostel available as well as plenty of bed and breakfasts.
Evening meal depending on numbers to be either at my place or if too many, in the pub. Of which there are three to choose from, so we might as well do the whole village

Sunday morning a short ride to see the only cable car in Ireland and then I will lead the way to either Bantry or Kenmare and then yee can all fek off....
Kilgarvan is the start off point as its fairly easy to get too from Cork or Kilarney as well as not too bad if coming from Limerick.
OK so I am closing the other thread as this is the "official" one,
Now the bla bla, riders do so at their own risk bla bla bla this is just a few friends riding on the same roads the same day etc

) so if the weather is half decent it could be a nice spin down on Friday evening.
I was excited there for a minute as I thought it wasn't clashing with a family committment then
especially using the fall off I mean drop off system
