The best Chinese bike yet?

With the T-box technology fitment, they’d be perfect standard-issue for all our armed forces.
In fact, I can almost hear the current government rustling-up the procurement contract document papers as I post :D

This “T box” or remote access is baked into lots of new cars Toyota Volvo etc for remote start, location. How long before its like a credit card and you can remotely freeze / stop it. Then thats a whole new level of big brother!

I really like the look of this! I really think I would open my wallet for this!

Inline twin; it's a fuckin parallel twin; across the frame; side by side; east to west;; north to south is inline; sometimes refered to as Tandem twin.

T box blurb..
The system works globally, but is particularly valuable for UK riders who want extra peace of mind for touring, commuting, and off-road use. Some features may require a subscription, please check with your local dealer for details.

They know bikes get stolen all the time here then....😅

Well I’ve owned one …
Well, you don’t now?!
Clearly learnt your lesson.
Really can’t be arsed repeating myself on a ‘flogged horse’ discussion, but the failings of Chinese bikes aren’t on their initial appearance or even riding them. It’s on the whole Chinese infrastructure. They like making stuff that’s good, but don’t ask them to fix or provide parts for. They just want you to buy another with all the money you saved on the initial purchase.
This ethos works well with white goods and TVs, but not with motorcycles!!
Next you’ll be telling me a fucking Jaecoo is as good as a Range Rover ffs!!
PS. I’m pretty sure you’d opt for early retirement if Chinese planes started showing up at Terminal 5?! 🤣🤣

I like the idea of the Chinks knowing where I am at any given point in time. That’s reassuring when I ride across town to hand over docs on one of my covert spy missions for MI5.

Oh, and backlit controls…
So I can spend time scanning across the handlebars to find the indicator switch each time I change lanes…..
Or the backlit headlamp beam flash, so I can signal my arrival to those pesky spooks in a dark alley.
Game changer.

Well, the majority of all bikes today are manufactured, sourced and/or built in China, Japan, India, Taiwan, Vietnam, et al whether you like it or not.
Yes, but the production and quality control
are dictated by the Japanese or Western Companies. Health and safety too…………which is an optional extra in China!!
I worked for a Japanese company for years and ALL their stuff was made in Shenzhen, but it wasn’t designed there!!
There was usually a couple of Japanese guys in the massive factories supervising things. That was pretty much it.
Senior Japanese staff were only sent there if they fucked up fingering teenagers or something?! It was the equivalent of the Russian front for them.
China is a necessity if you’re manufacturer and want to be competitive, but I still feel more confident behind a big badge with established customer service. Call me crazy??!! Lol
Anyway each to their own 🤔

They are viewed as a lesser vehicle by many.

Just the way it is.

And any of the tub thumping by the forum evangelists won't change some of our minds.

Why bother is the question though?

What do you care if someone looks down their nose at what you're riding?

Talking out of your bigoted arse as always .
The only reason I sold my Voge was the seating position triggered the nerve pain my back whereas my Vstrom 800 doesn’t .

CF Moto in particular are selling every bike they can make with a waiting list for the 1000 MT-X.

Times are changing . Read the latest reviews . Bikes like the 1000 MTX came out on top in comparison reviews against bikes like the Tiger 900 , having a better motor, superior suspension and much better equipment. And that’s before you even consider the £5k saving .

But some like you will never see the wood for the trees.

Dying blissfully ignorant works just fine for me. 😬
