Now that I have the f800 back we are planning a longer trip. My conundrum is do I trust it? This time we will be going away from civilisation as we know it, where a broken down bike would be a real problem and funnily enough we don't have 4 x 4s and film crews following us. So do I:
Fork out for a lowering kit so I can consider using the bike off the tarmac (it's too big for anything other than smooth roads when I come to stop. I can touch with the points of my toes only, even with platform boots!)
Look for a suitable alternative?
As you all know I've gone to great lengths to get this bike back and I love riding it, BUT …
