Cheers for that Gerards; watched the flying Scotsman come through our town last week; the Grandaughter got some amazing slow- mo footage as it came through. Just having a breaky at Hawes ; should hit base camp soon. Thanks for the heads up on the Loco

Another great event, Micky. Sorry I had to cut and run. Bit of a dreich ride home but made up for it when 2/3 of the way up to Hartside height, two Chinooks came whop whopping over the summit. Hugs and kisses to Margaret!
Thanks Micky, had a lovely time and thanks for your hospitality. I really enjoyed meeting some of the faces behind the names - great guys. Pity I had to leave today but the burns on my nether regions need treatment.

Oh the fart lighting contest went wrong did it........?
FFS no competition. My immediate neighbour (nameless) was considerate enough to pitch his tent 1ft from mine. Came back from the pub - mortal: then snored and farted all night.
My nether regions were spilt coffee !! I wish it had been more exiting.
