The first BTBR 1200 Lighting Job....

I've just bought a waterproof switch from Nippy Normans to make my Hella Micro DE fogs switchable - can anyone advise me which of the three wires on the switch goes where (I will have to cut off the connector).

PIAA Switch Wiring.

Black – Earth

Red – Signal wire from dipped headlight.

White – Pin 85 on fog light relay.

BTBR - can the earth be any earthed wire such as the earth from the hella relay?

Yep, either go direct back to the battery with it or use the other main earth point that attaches on top of the gearbox.

1200 lights

the set up looks great BTBR. You don't know anyone in ireland who could do a similar job? I presume your set up will work with any mounts?

Looks like I'll have to fix that.

A friend of mine has ordered himself a 1200 Adventure, so I'll have one to work on soon.

The mounting bits need to be altered to make the 1200 light bar work on the Adventure.
But as there seems to be more and more of a demand, I'll get on it as soon I get my hands on the bike.

Nope, my mate is still waiting for his 12GSa to be delivered.
Now they are saying it will be mid March...
Until then I don't have a model to take measurements.
