As we had our old mucker from South American days over last night decided to take the “Long Way Round” to work. (One year ago we were meeting in t’ "Ideal" in Buenos Aires, how time flies after you’ve had fun :( )

Nice start to day, instead of 10 miles and 15 minutes it was a lot further and over an hour….quality time!

Over Kepwick Moor and down to Hawnby at 08.30 with but a few pheasants to scare along the way  .

Then via the flood damaged (June 2006) bridges, now mainly rebuilt, and over Osmotherly Moor, past last weeks crash site (another tale for another day  ) and on down to Northallerton.

Boz off for Scotland, me off for a day less fun…oh well, cracking start to the day though :thumb

So that's why he arrived here late and covered in mud......

Be sure to leave him the way you found him ;) can't have him going home clean :D
He left here at about 10:30 this morning heading back down south. The bike was still mucky. He'd persuaded Motorrad Central not to wash it when they serviced it.....
