So it turns out that it’s not Merlin but Held that have taken over the baton dropped by Scott.

Just saw that. I looked at the Merlin ones which area slightly different design. Held ones appear to be same as the Scott which is good.

Supposedly better , as if you read the article or watch the video El Cúnto de Capo explains that Held copied the Scott yet found an even better fabric with even higher waterproofing and breathability .
