The P.R. of Cork this Saturday and Sunday.

Sorry to have been missing for so long, I got a bit busy.:o

The Annual People's Republic of Cork Run will begin at the Shell petrol station
at the start of the Carrigrohane Road "IW 64929 71297"at 10:00 on
Saturday morning and will bring you to some of the most scenic areas of
West Cork. Accomodation (cheapest) will be booked for Saturday night for
anyone who wants it (will have price per/person later today). I'll need numbers
so if you're coming please put up a post to say so and let me know if you
will require accomodation for the Saturday night.

I am getting a bit of help from someone who knows West Cork very well. :clap

'Bout bloody time :augie

We were starting to consider making our own plans for the w/e :D

I'm in :bounce1:bounce1:bounce1
(be down Friday evening probably)

Looking to get some use out of the TKC's... Are the rumours of only Boreens to be believed?

Negotiating brownie points for this at the moment...

OH, any idea what hotel/accomodation we're looking at?

how far away can it be?? :nenau

Sure it's only down the road :augie See ya Friday evening :thumb2

If anyone else fancies tagging along Aidan, Trev & myself are heading down Friday evening. I'm leaving Rathfarnham about 4 & meeting the other 2 in Kildare (my place). We'll be leaving from there at about 6. :moped:

Details to follow this morning (I hope) ;)

Won't be there ....

... as I have an appointment on Saturday with a nice lady who is sorting out a displaced right kneecap and knee joint, and realigning my lower back. She might be doing some work with my right shoulder as well.
After 2 years of telling doctors, consultants, physios that my right knee hurt, this lady did an X-ray of it and found that the pain in the right knee wasn't referred pain from my back. My back is out due to the problem with my knee.

Anyway, that's my excuse for not being there. Enjoy yourselves and take care for your knees.

The big Langer is strangely silent. :nenau :augie

Just on the phone to him at the moment ;)

Jesus lads ! I was busy ! :eek
I do have a job you know.

The route will be a mixture of stuff to keep both Aidan and Padge happy, and nothing too extreme.
Accommodation is provisionally booked for 14 people in the Muskerry Arms Hotel, in Blarney with
more available if required.
The accommodation is a large guest house which is part of the hotel. Cost per person is €40 and
this includes a full Irish breakfast.

I can guarantee this will be an entertaining run. :bounce1

Tell that to someone who doesn't know you. At least ya didn't take the pish altogether by claiming ya were 'working' :augie
