The P. R. of Cork Annual Ride-out.

Do I need to fit new TKCs?

No bother BB ye'r booked. :thumb2

If anyone else thinks they might make it, put up a post so as I can
confirm numbers for accommodation.

About the TKCs, no, it wont be quite that challenging.

The Hotel's Guest house (IW 60920 75680) is right beside a secure parking area and I booked for 5 singles
at €40 incl breakfast. There is room for more for the time being if there are any late takers.

Some of ye I'll see on Friday night, but the starting time on Saturday is 10:00 at the Shell garage.
Some of the enterances are narrow and would require riders to remove their panniers, this is the
case at a few of the gates so, I will bring my van to the meeting point for anyone who wants
to stow away their panniers.

Howzat sound ? :nenau

Pic below is part of the route.

Padge are you still going down on sat morning?

Slight change of plan. I'm heading to Longford tonight and going from there in the morning. I can meet up en route if you want. Maybe Urlingford for Brekkie or somewhere like that?

Joe & Willsuds.. What's the story with ye?

That's a much handier way of getting to Cork than going straight from Dublin

Spoke to Jose yesterday. He's not gonna make it as he's running around like a bluear$ed fly tryin' to gather up the last few visas, etc before he rides off into the distance :moped:. Departure date is the 23rd so I think the pressure's on ;)

Padge I have your number,we can play it by ear and see how things are going in the morning. For those of us without GPS where abouts is the Carrigrohane road?

Grand.. I don't have yours so can you PM or text me.

From My search with the Co-ordinates form Daithi, it is on the N22 just outside cork City (South West side).
From Dublin side, take South Ring, get off at Sarsfield Road Roundabout (Next roundabout After Airport and Kearys BMW) and head towards City.
At end of road take Left and petrol station is there (the road runs aside the River Lee).

Daithi will probably be along shortly to tell me I'm talking thru me ar$e.

Is it not the Shell??
And 10 bells?

Carrigrohane road

It's a straight road with only one Petrol station on it, but then if you are not left out that often I suppose even you could get lost on it.
