well after lots of phoneing around i've found out about PDR101. The frames a genuine 1984 HPN dakar frame
It was a spare for that little belgien fellow and was aquired in 1985 but the guy who built the bike, along with the dakar tank that was later sold by the guy i bought it from. it also had the rear swing arm and bevel drive and forks. The SA was of the shorter type as fitted in 84. I shall post some photos of it in its 80's trim when i get the time for you to have a gander at.
big question is, do i leave it as it is or do i rebuild as the 84 penthouse bike
