Does anyone have one of these that actuallywork?

I am looking to be able to take a cup of coffee with me in the morning and would like it to stop warm for longer than 5 minutes.

I have paid upto £10 for one and it still doesnt work any better than the cheap ones i have had.

Any suggestions?

I picked up one of these

Recommended by a squaddie who said he could fill it, put the lid on & shove it in his bergen. It would still be warm & good to drink 5-6hrs later... & wouldn't have leaked all over everything. Best bit? £2.99 from Makro.

I also have a bigger one that my Wife bought me from Starbucks & that's also very good, but cost about £13.

millets do one for a tenner stainless steel if you pre-heat them they work better

I got this from TK Maxx about 3 years ago and its brilliabt, I slight turn of the top give you spill free drinking and it keeps your coffee warm for about an hour longer if you put boiling water in it first. Its stainless steel so won't break either and fits a treat in the cip holder of the car.

when we head up the hills and it seems to keep stuff nice and warm without leaking you can also take it to bits quite easily to clean properly

I really rate LIFEVENTUREs thermal mug, it's got a good screw on lid so you know it won't leak and with no handles you can stuff it in a pocket if you go for a walk. Looks the same as pauls but twice the price,Doh.
It aint got one of those lids with a slidey drinking hole though.

See lots of people doing that while driving on the M4 - it is quite funny when I get as close as possible; give them a toot as I go past, they then drop their doughnut on the floor and their mobile phone in the coffee cup held between their legs.

Only if using a mobile, applying make up, smoking, eating a runny egg cob or any other number of pass times we can manage whilst allegedly 'driving'

With regard to the comments made on the legality and responsibility issue i can see the value of your comments.

I would like to assure you all that i do take great care when driving and only drink or eat in the safest of conditions.

Makro? Does anyone else do them? I have seen them on eBlag for around a tenner but never found one locally.
