Thin waterproof gloves

Why does my wet suit let water in then? Is it just because the seams aren't sealed?

:nenau

No, it’s because the water comes in via the neck, arm and leg holes. Dry suits have waterproof seals, and neoprene is waterproof.

Blimey! My pair are about 2 years old and have done quite a few miles. Took a bit of wearing in but now very comfy, no problems at all.

the gore grip lining kept coming out of mine usually at a petrol station which was a real bastard

I have ripped the gore lining out now and just have them as a pair of gloves

Think I'm looking for the unicorn of gloves, any help appreciated . I've been to quite a few local bike shops and searched online but cant seem to find any.

They are either thick winter gloves or have that awful lining that pulls out if your hand gets damp or wet.

I'm after a thin, short cuff waterproof glove that doesn't cost the earth.

I have some thin gloves, they might be Dainese (but don't quote me) that I used to keep in my tank bag as a spare. I think they were originally aimed at scooter riders or some such. I believe they are waterproof but cannot remember ever using them. Thhey are in my garage.

I am happy to sell them to you, price TBA.

I have size 10/11 hands, as per Rukka sizing.

Let me know, please. No sweat either way, as I can (now that I think of them) use them on my bicycle.

Thanks for the replies.

Tried a few pairs of the Revit range, most have that liner that pulls out when they get damp.

Neoprene is a definite NO

Sent some of you PM's too.

Thanks but need a 12 XXL

I’m always fascinated by glove posts - no matter how our shapes change over the decades, our hands are quite loyal and we all enjoy a good, perfect fitting glove.
Hand fetish if you like?! lol

I’ve a pair of Klim adventure GTX that might do the trick.

They’re unworn!!

Jim

Held "Air 'N Dry" gloves. Two compartment but pretty thin and remarkably warm in winter but needed heated bars for anything below 5 or 6 degrees. First totally waterproof gloves I've ever owned. All the rest I've owned, despite the claims, have leaked. These have not. Spendy but worth every penny. On my 5th year with them now and still great. Good on warmer months too using the inner compartment for good air flow

Sadly don't do a short version

I have these, they are brilliant, the inner stays put, rode through some biblical weather with them last year and my hands stayed warm and dry,

You could try waterproofing your everyday gloves with some treatments available.
