Question is , do I remove all the farkles or leave as is?
Just part exchanged my BMW for another BMW.
Negotiated price of new bike, then introduced part exchange.
Dealer offered me £x with all farkles (60% OEM BMW, 40% after market).
Dealer also offered exactly the same price with all farkles removed and bike returned to standard.
Sold all farkles circa £3k.
So, in answer to the question, remove all farkles.
Agree 100% if you're trading in but if selling privately, you could potentially get more interest in a farkled bike. I was looking out for a fully farkled <2 year old bike for a while before finally finding mine as a private sale. It was exactly what I was looking for (right model, farkled and low miles) and made the bike stand out from all the others I'd seen advertised.
