I have a 2610 which I've just replaced with a 2720. I wanted to use the new licence for V8 (and 9 when I get it) from the new one for the old one (as per their t&c) but NT does not work on the 2610.

Long story short
Those very nice people at GArmin ahve given me a free upgrade to CN V8 as V9 is now coming out thus saving me £40.

Did I say they were very nice people - I didn't even ask for it, I was looking for help finding my login for mygarmin.

It's been said before and I'll say it aain, when you speak to themm they are top.

"Getting" to speak to them is a whole different ball game! However, my last call (settled in, paper, cup of coffee etc) was answered on the FIRST ring. I went and told the wife afterwards (all excited like) "That's nice dear." They don't underrstand do they?

GArmin support...

I got so hacked off waiting for them to answer the phone :( that I rode down there! Brilliant support after that as has been said:thumb . 3 days later a brand spanking new 2720 was on the front doorstep.:bow
