Thought I would do a r1150 gs rallye as BMW forgot to do one

Really good job that, the only thing im also not keen on is the seat, plain black or red might have looked better for me personally.

Nar lumpy I got from here,,,http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Firma-Wijalis,,,, very helpful person all done though emails,,, done it to what ever design I wanted, cost would normally be £49.00 that's for the two seats, but with the bits I wanted with the two different colour lethers it was £59.00 I think it was a bargain.

I took this photo yesterday as I've got other seats, I've just bought a set of wheels off a guy on here with continental tkc 80 Twinduro I'm looking at having the rims painted, I've got a spare set of off road wheels, they are crap, so I intend to go green laning on the 1100gs in the new year with the lads from TRF.

The mileage is 132000 but runs very well, I've got a choice, do I trade this in to coopers for a new BMW adv, old shape as they are offering a good deal on this

Sorry to disappoint but went into coopers to put a deposit on a GSA dripping with extras, I've never had a new bike as I've change so many times in the past, so after owning a few gs's I'm certain that this will be my bike for a long time, I will keep the 1150 gs as I'm planing a long tour with this.
They will be taking the 1100gs as part ex allowing £1500, I've got no interest whether they take cash or the bike, if its to any ones interest to have the bike I would say this runs very well, I've done most of the engine work, two new tyres, new steel tank, 10 months t&t, this would make a good reliable bike till you feel its time to move on,
This weekend I took it off round with the trf, there was a ktm 990, 800gs, ktm 525, two Honda 400 and a beta 300 we did 200 miles from Sunderland to Alston then back, I put a set of conti tk80 on it was great never missed a beat it climbed almost everything the smaller bikes did.

It's not quite to my taste but I can appreciate the work that has gone into the bike and commend you for that. Plain black seats for me too please.

Thank you for all your comments on the build, the reason for the seat was to make the bike individual for my tour across Russia, by the time I get back home I think the seat will be buggered so I may after rethink that one, but it will have served its intention,
