Anything I should be especially aware of when doing this ? I have it all back together and it's running so I will wheel it into the open air tomorrow and try and get it balanced. I've done it with my twinmax in the past but as this is a full reset - is there anything else I should be aware of or do I just go at it same as always ?

I was surprised by how little slack there needs to be in the throttle cables before the fast idle will operate.:thumb

If you have set the free-play at the throttle end, just pre-set each cable adjuster so that it's just off the butterfly quadrant. Then go about the idle speed via the BBS as usual, followed by adjusting the balance as normal.

Cheers - job done and the old girl seems to be running sweet and true :thumb2 What a difference the new cables make - the whole throttle action is so much lighter and more responsive.... probably should have replaced them ages ago.
