Hi all
May seem like a strange question.......anyone got some pics or instructions on the routing of a throttle cable on a R1100rt '98 especially around the handlebars.
When I lock the handlebars to the right, my throttle will not close fully. Ie Clunk when closing but this reduces to no close when full locked. I noticed this at the weekend when I did a u turn and the revs went up....never really noticed this before, it was easy to read the cable numbers so I assume the cable was changed at some time. The cable was not tight but I also noticed later that on full lock right, the 45 degree cable joint at the handlebars is pushing against the fuel tank/fairing. Should that be happening?
