Throttle cable/

Could any one tell me how do i know the differance between a 96 model accelerator / throttle cable .I have given both engine no & frame no, each time it comes back as the chassis no of a 320! bm.Basically whats the differance in cable s are there any other model differances.I am told there were changes to the model mid 96 {june or july}Any Takers?

I believe that the earlier one's like mine have the cable going to the left hand throttle body then looping round and going to the right hand throttle body. On the later ones the cable goes to a splitter box under the tank.. Any help ?
