Throttle/choke cable

Bikes been stood for 18 months and when i fired her up the throttle cable felt stiff (compared to my R1100S) and the fast idle doesn't return until you open the throttle.

Cables probably want lubing or replacing. The bike has only done 10K miles.

What is the best lubricant or should i just bite another bullet and replace them all.

in the crash that the bike had -

check that the end weight hasn't been pressed against the twist grip , causing it to stick .
