Throttle response LC

Hilltop firmware is patented so if by change the boffins at bm hq got hold of your ecu, it would automatically revert back to factory so they cannot read it.

Im booked 1st may, 3rd bike for me.

Is it worth to have the decat headers before doing the remap? I'm just thinking you wouldn't get the best out of it and an after market can just makes more of a racket which is not what I want when doing some distance.

I have a full akra and hilltop on my twin cam next bike I get done I'm thinking of just the headers and hilltop.

I might just call them and get them to explain how any changes that they make can't be detected ................

Sounds good, I am wondering what, if any, are the downsides - I will give Hilltop a call tomorrow, actually an email might be better..............

I will email them tomorrow and see what happens.

I didn't get chance to email today from work but I will do.

......................

So, what was the response, I'm gagging to hear? :)

Had mine done this morning....
Had a great time at Geoff's talking all sorts.
For what its worth, mine was very lean to start with.
The end result of the firmware upgrade is a noticeable gain through the mid range, especially cracking the throttle wide open in Dyna mode.
I've just been out with my girlfriend as pillion and the difference is quite obvious.
Also its cured my surging whilst bimbling through town on a constant throttle. Definitely smoother....!:bounce1
