On a recent trip to Provence and back I cruised for long periods at about 95-100mph.

When I rolled off the throttle on occasions it was like someone had not only throttled off but turned a fuel tap as well as it seemed very lackling in response and had to be nurse back to cruising speed.

It was raining heavily on occasions as well (I did slow down).

Has anybobody had a similar expirience? The only thing I can think of is something to do with the cylinder heat.

By the way, a warning to all those with acerbis/touratech hand guards.Make such you check the tightness of the throttle side bolt as my endbar and bolt are somewhere in southern France.....(fixed with the ever essential electric tape).

I noticed something along those lines on my run back from Cardiff to Kent on Saturday after the FA Cup Final..... it was damp in the air most of the way if not actually raining.... I averaged 76.1 mph for the trip (inc fuel at Membury) so that gives you an idea of the speeds and I felt it needed to be eased back rather than snapping back to pace....

I assumed it was having a 17 stone fat b'stard as a rider and all three boxes loaded that it was wind (sic) rather than engine performance!
