Enjoy the rest of your trip Andres!

And OMG have you seen where the Thunder-Storm is tonight? :Motomartin

Can't wait for the full rundown :D

Oh the pictures and reports will be amazing, trust me :D

All safely installed in our evening accommodation, had a cracking day and some unbelievable scenery.

TTFN

PS

Glen has a brake problem,, 2003 1150 GS with servo brakes but since a slow speed drop in the sand on the right hand side (may not be connected) after 20 minute ride no sevos and "emergency" braking only.

Any ideas (apart from the duff servo scenario which we have covered) much appreciated.

Johnny if you could link this with an appeal for help to the 1150 section it would be appreciated, poor internet in our current location. :thumb

Handguard clear of the front lever? Rear brake pedal not bent and always applying the brake?

I agree it sounds like front brake lever catching on handguard
quick check - make sure rear brake light works with front lever

good Luck Glen

Could be shite in the switches also.

If the bike can't verifythe switches as open (i.e. no break lever pulled) the servo failes the self check and doesn't work.

Do you get the servo noise when you start the bike if you use the rear brake lever. If it is fecked you can bypass the servo. Use the hose from the rear caliper directly to the master cylinder. You can do the same on the front to the point where the lines split using a new brake hose.

Just hope you robbed the spare brake fluid I was carrying :)

Mini Trip Report

Here are the photos I took on my trip.

So much crap to pack. At least I did it in a tidy fashion :D

All packed up with somewhere to go. I ditched the tyres before I left. They were a bridge too far on the stability stakes.

lrg-253-img_0383.JPG

At Portsmouth on the first day heading to the continent. That ramp in the back ground was "interesting" in the ice.

lrg-244-img_0388.JPG

On the ferry. Nice quarters.

lrg-255-img_0389.JPG

Night NUmber 2 in Bordeaux. No outside pictures as it was pishing it down :(

lrg-247-img_0394.JPG

Night number 3. No time to dry the kit, it rained again so I was slopping by the time I got to Madrid. time for some drastic measures.

The 4th Night. Note to self. Take more photos.

They are making excellent progress and I recon it looks like a fuel stop in the next 30 mins for them, (either that or a Little Chef:rolleyes:).

On the satelite it looks like the tarmac road stops not long after the fuel stop for a few miles before becoming tarmac again which if still the case will be interesting:augie

I'm well impressed with these guys:clap:clap
