Glad you are having fun.

Stay safe mate. Sorry you had to beat a slight retreat from the front line old boy.

Sid

Stayed at Bikershome last night and went out for a meal with the familly and a Dutch couple; the guy having competed in the Paris Dakar on both bikes and trucks. Top night out and Bikershome is fab :thumb2

You're so right, every time I log onto Spot I'm amazed by it and that that type of tech is available to Joe Public. Still seems like something out of Tomorrows world to me:clap

PHEWWWW it's been a hot day :augie:augie:augie:augie

Maybe for some

This morning I went piste wise to Erg thingymejig )the big dune things).
After deciding to turn back after a few miles due to overnight rain turning the sand into scarey muddy quick sand sort of stuff the enevitable happend and down I went, no drama and no damage. However, dodgy hip and metal leg means no lifty bike. 30mins later and cue lad on Mobylete and Im off again :D

Now, believe it or not I just made it to Medlit, scariest ride ever and worsethan even the M20 experiance. I,m in a hotel, there is 3inches of snow outside and its still coming down. The pass has now been shut and they reckon I may be here a day or two. Mind you its a beautiful old hotel and there are worse places to be snowed in :)

Good luck vibes to the Hot crew, mutterings are that alls going very well :thumb2

Interesting day, particularly the border crossings! And now they're out of Mauritania the news blackout is lifted and fuller reports can be published :JB
