Hi
I have just finished doing a 36000 mile service on the Adv, I found the inlet and exhaust clearances to be way out and also set the End float to 005mm
The bike had rough running till I found one of the throttle cable not seated properly not due to the tank but physically had to force the cable down. Also set the Vacum up on the carbs and balanced the throttle. The bike really goes well but on tickover there is just a slight hardly noticable rise in revs and back down.
Is this normal with a twin or should the Tickover be prefect any advice
Thanks tony

Do you have just a little slack in the cables?I think its only in the order of 0.5mm but it needs some, if all else is well then on my 1100 its the big brass screws, turn them in together incrementally until your desired idle is achieved,I hope this helps.:thumb2
