I had my 1150GS serviced (24000miles 0uch£££) in Coopers Tonbridge Wells and tickover speed is about 1400rpm when warm. I think this is too high. Can I adjust each injector accurately without the balancing tool?Or, is there an easy way?:thumb2

IMHO after reading a lot about throttle body balancing and doing me own. ;) You will need some sort of balancing device to start adjusting anything:)

However, if you know that they are already in balance, someone better than me may have a method for adjusting the idle without affecting the balance:confused:

just take it back if its local and u aint sure, they set it too high
you can turn both screws down the same, should be ok, but a balencer is the best bet

Take it back, it cost you enough.

But in the meantime, turn the brass screw each side IN a half a turn at a time to get the idle that you prefer.

It won't do any harm.
