When I saw my front indicator waggling in the breeze tonight on the way home I thought it would take a couple of minutes to tighten it up but unless I'm missing the plain bleedin' obvious (quite likely) it's not that easy. I checked the manual and couldn't see how to do it either. The nut on the end of the threaded tube is hidden behind a bulge which is part of the fairing.

I can just get a finger in there to turn the nut but not a spanner. Any ideas on how to tighten it without stripping the whole front apart?

buy a new bike
i've got the 1100 but never had that problem.
no help am i.

Headlight out, then small panel that sits above where the indicator bolts are.

Have fun.

Sell my bike indeed! Made that mistake with my old Bumble Bee. This one's never going - not even for something as major as the indicator coming loose. Odd that it decided to do it after 60K miles though. Usually things sieze up. Further dissection it is tonight then.

Thanks,

Chris
