How lovely is that?

Mousey Thompson, the Mouse Man of Kilburn. Furniture maker from Kilburn, North Yorkshire. Worked only with English Oak, and every piece he made, he carved a mouse into it somewhere. Worked predominantly with Church furniture, pews, pulpits and the like but could turn out anything, dining tables, chairs, beds, wardrobes. Thompsons furniture is very sought after with older stuff commanding ridiculous prices, but it’s that or go on a waiting list, and still pay a fortune. I used to ride with his grandson.Wasn't there a furniture maker that used to carve a mouse into his ware?Quite sought after I believe.
