Time for a new project

You have done a cracking job restoring the bike: it looks great.

It's not really my thing so I haven't decided what to do with it yet. I suspect that it's going to come in around the £3k mark which is going to be more than most people are prepared to pay.

Its a mystery to me why prices for the R100RS aren't up with the PD mono? It's just as iconic and cost an arm and a leg when they were new. The germans seem to rate them judging by the prices on Mobil.de
I wouldn't be surprised to see prices go skywards over the next few years.

Get Ewen and Charlie to ride a couple somewhere with a camera crew :augie :D IMO the oilhead GS boom seems to have been a catalyst for renewed interest in airhead GSs.

I'm blown away by the quality of this spray job.Amazing attention to detail

try selling in Germany on mobile.de - good bikes there seam to be going for silly prices at the moment.

BMW R 80 GS R 80 GS (1987 - 96) BASIC 11,000 EUR

BMW R 80 GS / 1000cc Doppelzündung / Liebhaberfzg. 7,499 EUR

BMW R 80 G/S Caféracer 12,250 EUR

BMW R 80 G/S Basic Bj 1987 Super 6,490 EUR

£3k - sounds like a good price for a donor bike for an off road special to me :P
:D
