That bike looks too good to chop, loose the shite paint job, go classic black with white pinstripes and enjoy as is.

Just get it back on the road for now, use it, then see how it progresses.
Made a start last night...
Back brake is fooked.. master cylinder is seized solid and look at the grooves in that disc..

The rear master cylinder arrangement is a pain in the arse at best. If your stuck for parts I have a few knocking about in what appears to be good condition. Can't help with a disc but I'm sure I have most other parts.

A good mod is to swap the spindly rear swing arm for the beefier 81-83 item. The only downside is you have to cut the rear brake light switch in half to fit it. Sounds a pain but its bit a bad idea to ditch the standard switch for an hydraulic one if your staying with a disc.

The heavy flywheel s is a lovely quick bike if running properly. You won't wont to be strung out on high bars.
