Just like the future; no petrol. They were turf powered; keeping the float bowls clean was a curse. With fuel injection we will not have that to worry about when the turf comes back.:eek:

Paul Dunstall had most of my disposable income for years :D This 99 had Dunstall tank, rearsets, clip-ons, sweepies and megs. The oil tank leak was free :eek:

One of my bros, 'Batman' on here had a whole rash of Suzuki's ... if only he had taken more pics. :(

I don't think he had every model they produced but he certainly had many of the GT/GS models.

Maybe this thread will nudge him into a picture post :D

:thumb That brings back some happy memories - I was into 2 stroke Suzukis meself ...T250 and GT 250, GT550, GT750, T500...

Must get that negative scanner I've been musing about and burn some midnight oil...:D

old bikes

theres a civil sort of fellow up the street from me with one of those bikes, he used to take it out for a push now and again but finally gave up trying to ride it. Just too much bother but nice to look at.

The BMW R75/6, BMW R80GS and Yamaha XT225 are current.
Of the rest, the Lambretta is the one I would miss least.
