half way through re-wiring my 1100gs and i noticed a "timing valve" in the wiring diagram, it look's similar to an injector the way it's electrically drawn in the haynes manual, i've looked all over the bike and cant find it, and what does it do,?, anyone know,,

had another look at the wiring diagram, and the co2 pot is'nt the timing valve,,

the electrical drawing symbol for it is the same as an injector drawing, so i think it might control the injector's, but where is it,??

That timing valve is a US-only thing.

US models have a charcoal filter fitted to catch fumes from the fueltank, via the two small tubes and then some which I forgot.
Somewhere in that system is that valve fitted.

On EU bikes no such thing, only the loose connector.

Paul.
