Dishing

Potato peeler to just take the very edge off every other block and machined the spacer down to 2mm.

No extra gap now between final drive housing and wheel, and the tyre does not catch anymore - result . Bike also handles well at speed, 80mph and when cornering.

Phil, Just a thought.

Considering that most of the 80/100 Para owners who have fitted 130 TKCs with out any issues. Could it be worth getting your wheel checked to see it it is built to the correct dishing? It sounds like yours might have been built wrongly and could do with some adjustment.

Correct dishing

Took the rear wheel along with one from my R100 to a local engineering firm.

They have all the gear and some idea (of what they are doing) and pointed out after precise measuring that there was no difference between the 2 wheels, one 89 the other 92.

As others have either shaved the edges, fitted a spacer or worn a marking in the swing arm with 130 TKC's, i'm comfortable that everything is to the correct tolerance and mine don't rub
