Guys

I am entered into the Sammy Miller classic trial run by North Berks on my GSA 1150. Dont ask - it involved a pub, a couple of beers and a bet.

I have gone down to 15PSI with no problems, but every PSI will count in a trial. I'll have CO2 mini bottles so if it does come off the rim I assume I can reinflate OK.

But any recommendations?

There's no real roadwork to worry about.

Thanks, Mike

Why not put a heavy tube in and run bit lower?

That would be my advice too.
Without a tube I suspect 10 psi would be as low as you could safely go on TKC's.
Good luck, you mad fool you.
Make sure you get lots of pics!

...too lazy

But seriously, are there holes for rim locks? Not near the bike at the mo so cant check - dont think so tho.

10PSI it is I suspect.

Don't suppose anyone's got an old twin shock trials bike they'd lend me for the day? I'm getting worried about this.

I've no idea what the popcorn signifies!

But on the ride home it struck me holes for rim locks and tubeless tires is a bad combo, but so are tubes and sub 10 PSI.

At least you guessed what the popcorn was for:D

I don't think anyones' suggested going sub 10psi, the bikes probably too heavy for that:thumb

Did the Witley 100 LDT at 15PSI - but plenty of roadwork on that. Sammy Miller Trial with the North Berks MCC isnt for a few more weeks.

There's almost no roads but plenty of miles across berkshire downs, wet clay'ey chalky slippery shit so I will go to 10 and see what happens...

Still preying for a loan of an old twin shock or something tho'.

Help!!!!

I’ve been down to 10psi and also ridden some considerable road miles also at 10psi on tkc80 under instruction from someone much more experienced.
I wouldn’t recommend road riding with such low pressures.
So easy now to put more air in when needed.
