I am currently running a TKC-80 on the front and an Ankee 2 on the rear of my GS. I ride off-road on the weekends and the Ankee just doesn't bit in enough. I did have a TKC-80 on the rear. But of course it wore down really fast.

I was at the Dealer today picking up stuff and the parts guy was pushing the K-60 for both the front and rear. He said that it's what most of the Adventure Owners get. I should have asked him how many of these posers ride off-road. :D

My big concern is how the K-60 is the rain and does anybody run the TKC-80 K-60 combination?

I need a new front and would like to change the rear to a more off-road tire.

Thanks

Rick

It's a great combination I think. The K60 is really up to the job and will give you plenty of traction on the dirt. One of the lads on one of my Alaska trips last year used this combination. He was a big TKC fan and was so sceptical that he would only run with a K60 rear and retained the TKC front which I thought was a perfect combination for the Dalton and he really rated it.

The K60 front is pretty good on dirt if a little vague but no where near as good as teh TKC.
