FYI - if you upgrade to the latest version (v6.520) of the TomTom software (on the TomTom itself not the PC software), you will loose the auto power off functionality :( Mine stopped powering off when I turn the ignition off so I emailed TomTom to find out if it was a fault. Here is the response I got (I've since gone back to version v6.150):

Thank you for contacting TomTom Customer Support.

The auto off feature was removed in the update 6.520 by product management as a reponse to customer wishes.
We will pass your feedback onto the team.

With Best Regards

The TomTom Customer Support Team

Well it wasn't something I wished for!

Auto off removed because the cr*p mount would break contact from its supply in normal use, Tomtom would then power down.
Customer request, absolute bolix. Go onto www.yournav.com and see the depth of feeling that this and other tomtom mount issues generates. I can't believe they are still spouting this rubbish.
Another case of a company rushing a product out to make a killing, then developing it at customers expense.
Tomtom support spins more then this labour government.
Buy a Garmin its a Ronseal thing (Does what it says on the tin)
