TomTom rider phone connection ?

I have a tomtom rider 1 which will not connect to my motorola V8 with the bluetooth. I have been told it will recognize some phones but not all. I have a JCB toughphone on the way so hope it matches that one?

Is a list available of which mobiles the tomtom will match up with?

If you go to Tom Tom.com site and check their FAQ section it does give a list of compatable mobiles along with other hints & tips.

I have found the Rider to be the easiest device for picking up phones and headsets via Bluetooth. Not that this solves your problem, but I did observe that sometimes it makes a difference whether the phone is switched on before or after the Rider. My own phone seems to prefer to connect to the device it was last connected to, even when some new device is trying to pair with it. Try switching the TT on first, then the phone. Then try it the other way round.
