After many sleepless nights the day has come!:JB Tonight is the night that I'll be picking up my new toy, the R1200GS Anniversary. The garage is opening at 10.30pm, so that all the sad buggers like me can pick up their new 60 plate bikes at 12.01am! Will let you all know how I get on.

In other news, the RAC and the AA report they have doubled their patrols around all known BMW Motorrad dealerships :D

In all seriousness - Enjoy the new bike :)

Well, I picked up the bike last night! I rode out of Vines at 12.10am, with no traffic, and had a clear run home. What can I say? The bike is fantastic! Now that I am an official tosser, I shall look forward to meeting up with as many of you as possible, and enjoying hours of conversations about the fantastic world of the GS!

Suggestion to get some miles on it..... get yourself up to Ripley a week on Friday :Motomartin

Thank you sir, mine will be the same with dark screen (love it!!!), extra alu bash plate but silver side panels as standard. Just need to wait a few weeks as I went for the enduro gearbox :)

Congrats. I picked up mine on Saturday and loving it. I am now able to jump over buses on my in to Central London every day. Scooters and rice rockets now get out of my way.
