The BMW Club don't charge much: iirc it's a fiver plus the postage each way. You do need to be a paid-up member (currently £32 pa) to use the scheme.
Just checked it say's,,,,Subs £15 per year,,also will the GS 911 run off an IPad

What do you want doing with a Gs-911? You can probably get someone of ebay or elsewhere to connect / help you.. For less money.

Subs on here are £15/year. The BMW Club is £32: click on http://www.thebmwclub.org.uk/default.asp then the Membership tab. Motoscan is a cheaper option. A Bluetooth obd dongle, converter cable to the round bmw plug and the app itself with Ultimate option. You can use the dongle on your car as well.
I have both and tbh I prefer the GS911. I still have an old yellow one, not a new WiFi red one.
