Does the Touratech toolbox ( or identical Chinese copy) once fitted interfere with any part of the bike or need any part removing etc?
Some similar positioned toolboxes either interfere with the rear tyre, mudsling, rear hugger etc.
Anyone had one on for some time?

Are you on about the one which fits to the GSA pannier rack? If so, the Touratech one should bolt on and not interfere with anything - including pannier fitment.

I've got the touratech one fitted to the gsa luggage rack and it's a nice bit of kit. Mine hasn't caught or rubbed in anyway for the years I've had it.
The instructions recommended the rear mud catcher is removed for off road use. I suppose if you doing some arduous off road stuff with lots of suspension travel then there could be an issue but for general road use it's been fine.

Same here, no issues experienced. And as an added bonus, it stops a bit of the road crap getting to the back of your left leg.

Same here. No problems, even two up and full luggage over fairly rough ground (but not full blown motocross type stuff).

One of the best aftermarket additions to my GSA's. It carries my Complete Tool kit. Tyre plugger kit. Jump cables for NoCo. & High Vis vest. The great thing, Is you dont know its there. Watertight locking mechanism. Im referring to the more expensive touratech version. Worth every penny.

I have the Chinese copy and I very impressed with it.....fits perfectly and nothing interferes.

Stays dry as a nuns chuff.

Bargain when compared (though I would like to compare locks)

Yes they are, mines got the plugger (dynaplug kit which is very compact), airman, gloves and a few odd tools. A great investment as you always know its with you just in case.

Does the Touratech one fit if you have a mudsling fitted ( or a copy of the mudsling), does it interfere or obstruct at all?
