Top box to rear seat position

Anyone done this?

Anyone got the conversion plate required? If so how much is it?

Would I be better getting a rear bag jobby instead?

I alternate between the two positions - still can't make up my mind which is better.

I think the extra adapter bits were around £25 - try a search the part numbers have been posted before.

For daily use as a "boot" for odds and ends I think it is best on the seat position - if only I could mount it a few inches back I'd be happier - for touring luggage space it is better on the rack - then you can also carry a big bag
