On the recent Llangollen trip one of the guys noticed some bubbling paint spots on the front forks.

I went to SPC yesterday, Les looked at the pitted and bubbling paintwork, and without debate agreed to fix it under warranty and the bike is booked in for the 1st June.

Not my nearest dealer but always excellent service - that's why I go there

I agree. Les comes across as a good bloke.. he recently resolved a couple of things for me... no hassle...

I'll agree with that. I went there recently after the bottom ABS light would not extinguish. I was exceedingly unhappy as I've experienced ABS failure & new pumps (plural!), he said it was probably the brake light bulb, I said it was working. Les then demonstrated that one element had blown, the sytem then uses one filament as both brake & rear light.
I wish it would say these things in the manual?
Despite me being initially stroppy, Les was polite & professional, good bloke. I've got to go there soon as my fork brace is bubbling, and one of the bolts holding a front disc has a split!! in it.
