Hi , refitting the standard exhaust can and was wondering if the 13mm clamp nut and the hanger bolt has a set torque setting,
Thanks,
Ian.

My Torque wrench only goes down to 10Nm, so what’s the expression.....I have to ‘nip’ it.

Get a torque wrench for a push bike. They usually only go up to 20nm and are cheap to get from Halfords.

But the fear over overtightening can leave them loose.
Things fall off when they're loose and always when your far away from home.
Clearly never fixed anything roadside then

How tight mate?

FT

FT?

Yes fucking tight!

Never come loose

All joking aside, if it's got a nylock on the other end, or a shoulder &:isn't a blind fixing hole

You can generally give them a good tightening
