We'll see! A couple of years ago Little Dave speared off the track on the ascent of the Monastery - this is where he stopped!

:D

OMFG I so wish I hadn't just watched this :eek:

The terrain is slightly different from Salisbury Plain!

:D

Faak:eek

Can I get my money back?:rob

Lol dont worry, it looks worse than it is, more psycological than anything

The majority are open trails all doable on the 950, generally in our experience anything that greg has given aname to watch out for.

Valley of death
Wall of death
Monastry of Death
Zig Zag of Death

Spot the trend ?

There is always an opt out (or I will ride your bike over it, or up it, but i dont do down it !) :green gri

  • Jaegermeister of Death (Has Geoff recovered yet?)
  • Bedroom Snoring of Death (Has Roger recovered yet?)

and who could forget ....

  • The Stairs of Death (Has Phil recovered yet?)

Hmmmmm

Tossers and death...

Great.

What the fuck have i signed up for.....???

after watching you go down hill with andy ,I see you have the patience of a saint.....

Yeah, he needed it :blast I think that was the point at which Greg realised just how shit I actually was (*cough* still am)

Above is Bakerlonglegs Folly of Death

:blast What a muppet. Level, flat, wide gravel road. I managed to hit the only rock on it (not a very big rock at that), slap bang in the middle and off I went. Just not paying attention. Tool.

I was out of my depth on that trip but everyone was very patient and helpful, and I learnt a lot. I just went home a bit broken, that's all :augie .

(Dave might remember the scene getting out of the minibus at the airport, when we injured souls had to let a couple of OAPs off first, as they were more nimble than us.)

Is the truck gonna have a big tool kit? :D

I see myself doing some repairs .. ahem, upgrades.

What sort of tires are you boys using?

Yep... they got my money...

bandit (Dave) can best advise for your 950 - he trailed a 950 SER for several years.

The majority of trails are dry rock/gravel. Although I'll be using Michelin AC10s, the Mitas C-02rear/C-19 front are excellent tyres - and cheap too from Wulfsport.

The 950SE will tear up tyres quite easily.

I found the pirelli scorpion mx extra to be a good hard wearing rear tyre, and comes in the right fitment for the 950 SE. http://www.ridemx.co.uk/MotoCross/Shop/Tyres/Pirelli/1191_SCORPION_MX_eXTra_Motocross_Tyre.html

Front I either matched it up or put pretty well any off road tyre on.

I also ran extra heavy duty inner tubes, not sure mousses would suit. Though i did run a front mousse for a while without any problem and you might want to consider it to avoid pinch flats. Otherwise I would reccomend a higher pressure. Spain can be quite rocky, generally not muddy. You will need to carry what ever is necessary to change a tube. I managed to fit levers, tools and spare tube under the seat with a squeeze.

Make sure you fit rim locks on both the front and rear tyre or it will rip the valve out, as quick as you can say SE.
