Touratech bits............!

I've just been on the German site and it doesn't let you put a British address in.
Anyway around this as I'm not very tactfully when somebody is trying to Pam me off and getting me to buy from rip off Britain
.......... Don't mention the war..........:ronno.........:flag

No way around it, you have to buy from TTUK, unless you can ship to a German address or collect it in person from TT de

there was a similar posting last year or the year before about free trade markets etc and that touringcnut are breking EU law...

it was a case of tough then sue us type of thing.. think someone did complain to his MEP.

i went to the travel event once, a lot of the bikes came out on sunny days and looked like they did a ram raid drive thru of the shop. The only thing worth going for is the discount stand, where you can pick up some bargains if u look hard enough or are not bothered about a few marks.

they do a good breakfast for a few euro also, otherwise its quite boring.

2011 Travel Event was a great experience for us and very 'German' for an international event............Free camping, plenty of shitters, good quality cheap German food including the breakfast and excellent beer!

They showed the 'Back to Scotland' Film aswell as the Austrian KTM adventurer Joe Pichlers film and had other workshops and talks etc........GS challenge/Trophy qualifier was great aswell!:thumb

We were interviewed by the Touratech film crew because we were Scottish:nenau Aswell as having a good crack and meeting loads of folk..........Mostly Germans and i got to practise my O'level German......A lot!

The seconds sale was excellent if it was a bit of a scrum but i saved loads on the stuff i bought although you needed to know what you were looking for............Good roads in the Schwarzwald aswell!:thumb

Great atmosphere on the campsite and folk were always keen to chat and look at your bike etc and we spent a lot of time just making friends and drinking beer at the event some folk we met even visited us in Scotland later that summer which was nice.

I'll be back to ride the GS challenge as soon as I get the chance:thumb

FP.

They'll be at the show next weekend in London, offering deals according to Nick, so grab a "bargain":augie:D
