I’ve just bought a 1150 gsa with this locking filler gap. Is there a way to release it without the key? Or a long shot, but does anyone have the key as per the number in the photo that I can borrow to get it out.
I didn't really want to cause an argument, but similarly, I couldn't get my head around the requirement. Even in the most deprived areas of the world, syphoning oil from a vehicle is going to be far easier from virtually any other type of engine.
I’m pretty ambivalent about locking filler caps, it was fitted to the bike when I bought it. I just needed to get it open. Anyway it came with this so I was happy to take a punt.
