Hi there,
bit of a long shot but has anybody got a touratech windscreen spoiler fitted to there GSA I could try before handing over the cash on a new one (near bedfordshire would be best)? do they really work?
Also has anybody made any mods to the 2008 GSA regarding changing the position on the handlebars? my current set up aggravates my neck and back on longer runs.

Andy advice greatly received :beerjug:

Can't help with a loan of one but....

........I have one fitted to my 09 GSA and it helps a lot for me.

I'm 6'2" and long bodied so would be 6'4" if my legs were the proper proportionate length. I have the standard seat on low rear and high front with an airhawk so I sit quite high.

Windblast was smack in the face but with the spoiler on it is a genuine visor open job at 70 - 90 cruising. Well worth it in my opinion.

Works very well for me too,as did the laminar lip on my previous gsa, wind noise is significantly reduced at high speed and I can lower my screen two clicks.

I`ve got the spoiler and it`s a great bit of kit. Visor up at 100mph on private roads of course:augie

Err

I use one of the spoilers. It does move the wind blast up, but the turbulent air is still there. I've found it an improvement on just the screen, but I have to take it off every so often to remind myself of this fact, as it can be pretty noisy on a fast run.

Only saying this, as borrowing one would be a good thing. You could try mine if you fancy a trip up to Manchester, but I'm guessing that's a bit far.
