I have a 2019 GSA 1250, today half way through ride I notice rear tyre valve had moved out of place and was now facing towards the front of bike , not towards outside of rim . When I moved it either way I could hear air escaping.I then turned it anti lock wise and screwed in clockwise . Did this three times until it tightened in correct position facing towards wheel rim. It then seemed to lock in place and can’t be turned either way and is now not leaking air .
Any ideas

Has the rear tyre been replaced recently?

No ideas other than to get it checked professionally. Whilst not as butt clenching as a front wheel flat, having experienced a rapid loss of air in a rear tyre at speed, I can say without doubt it is not something I want to experience again!
