Yah, that 'Moto was my previous bike to the GS. The Husky was a bit too focused (considering that I've done 11,000 miles on the GS since Sept!). I put the coloured tyres on as a product review - it was actually quite hilarious!

The only time I've take the GS to the 'Ring was during Easter and I arrived on Thursday and only did a few laps. On the rest of the weekend the full track was open (GP+Nordschleife) so the times don't really apply. Especially as the GP circuit is way too grippy for a Boxer engine. I can't remember what my average lap time was either, but it might have been somewhere around 13 minutes or so...
I'll let you know next time what times I've done.... :D On my previous GSX-R I managed some 8:20ish BTG. :)

It's serious fun! :D

On that note; Riding the 'Ring is dangerous, and timing laps is not a good idea unless you know where the road goes. Be careful if you go. :)

I used to run those tyres on my SM (Sprint 'wet' compound and black! ;) ). They are truly fantastic tyres, I've never known such grip on a road tyre.

Given I used to get 4-500 miles out of a rear can you imagine what they'd be like on a GS
