Is it me or does the waring symbol keep flashing when pushing , first time out today and the bugger kept winking at me .. nice to be out again tho

This is easily adjusted. Simply rotate your right wrist forward a couple of degrees:rolleyes:

It’s usually flashing as the front wheel isn’t on the floor. This happens so smoothly that it a) makes you look like a riding god :blast and b) can take you a bit by surprise when it hits the floor again!

It was round a fast corner , felt fine , and additive , first time out after lockdown , like a horse in a field after winter....

Next you'll be showing us your chicken strips - or lack of, in your case... :P

Dirty word , go outside and flog yourself … rain mode ffs may as well buy a Multistrada ( enter stage Nutty )

Rain mode on a multi is the same as sport on a GS :D

Actually that's about right rain mode on a multi is 120BHP

And I never use rain mode as every time I've tried it the traction is overly intrusive and just pisses me off

I nearly fell off going up a steep hair pin as the power just wouldn't come on at all

To be fair tho the Multi is good , but bike on bike , no better , the Gs has better torque and power where it counts .
My old 1200s had 140 plus at the rear , full sports exhaust but was no faster in the real world of riding where I ride . okay on the few open stretches if was ace but that's easy , if anything it was harder to ride in an odd way , bit like a rubber band . Torgue at low revs is where the fun is for me these days , flat out on a 1000 sports bike on track are a thing of the past now , my eyes cant cope and also the damaged neck .

Stick, Think if you hold that little button down for a couple of seconds on the left hand grip it should sort it, but just be careful it doesn’t tip over :D

Actually the traction control is so good on the 1250, under hard acceleration two up in dynamic it holds the front wheel hovering just off the deck almost inch perfect, the electronics are so good now, getting more and more into the realms of GP technology.

Batman , have run without and it wheelies like a bitch , thing is tho with the Tc on you can get the best grip in Dynamic ( I only use this setting ) and you will fine the best control , must admit tho you can power wheelie the bugger out of corners at high speed and the look on people’s faces as the Gs comes past on the rear wheel is priceless .
The original post was due to a recent update on the system and wondered if they had changed the settings as the light normally does flash on that particular corner and the bike felt normal .

I’ve often wondered what would happen if I gave mine a absolute fistful when cranked well over, wondered if the electronics would be quick enough to take over and stop a big whoopsie?

‘Works in theory’ is one thing.....but having the courage to try it........well that’s another thing

It would save you but only as long as you didn't try to save yourself first as backing off and reacting confuses it. the trick is letting it do its stuff whilst you keep your foot in so to speak

TC is getting better and better as lean sensitive abs etc

Problem is you get to rely on it

That's true and a good bit of advice as you say , trust in what your doing . If your in that situation you have a fair chance of being capable and to ride it as it should . You can do it without but more old school , almost backing it in , but its a big bike and its a fine line , fine if your on a moto bike say , but it can go a bit wild . The TC is an aid that makes it feesable to go well , its still the additional skill that make it better.
My R1 on the track had nothing , but that's the track and mistakes you can get away with ( sort of) the road different , hence the TC
